BABETTE ROY - TEAM PRO

Babette Roy started climbing at the age of 7. Two years later, she was already doing bouldering, sport climbing and speed competitions. Eventually, she stopped speed climbing to go full time in the 2 other disciplines.

Her efforts paid off: in 2018, she won the Pan-American Junior Championships in the bouldering discipline. She won the national bouldering championships in 2022 and is now a member of the national team. She also admits to a competitive nature, drawing inspiration from other athletes who come to challenge her to surpass herself.

At present, she is focusing her energy on maintaining her position in the world rankings and has set herself the goal of reaching the semi-finals of the World Cup. She is also fulfilling her studies in psychology at UQAM.
Fun fact: Babette fears swimming in lakes... For our part, we're committed to supporting her on land...
