CHRISTOPHE GAUVIN GIRARD - PRO TEAM
Christophe Gauvin Girard is a young aspiring route setter that started to climb at the age of 16. While doing a trip to the crag with his friends, he fell in love with the sport. Since, he climbed few of the hardest outside blocs in Canada, Deputy in Squamish, as an example (V12/8a+).
With a 3 years intense route setting experience, he kept refining his craft while setting in a lot of climbing gyms in the province of Quebec. His inspirations are Manuel Hassler, Hori Tsukuru, Victor Fleutre, Yossi Sundakov-Krumins and YuSakai.
At Rose Bloc, we support Chris to have him continue his adventure in climbing to pushes the limits or route setting. We are giving him the environment to refine his climbing skills and art skills to have him set the best blocs available. You should see him in your neighbour climbing competition and hopefully, internationally too.
Lorsqu'il ne travaille pas ou qu'il ne grimpe pas, vous pourrez le croiser sur les sites ou les applications de jeux d'échecs, un passe-temps qu'il adore!
If Chris isn't working or climbing, you will see him on chess platforms (either online or IRL).
