HUGO VALENCE - ELITE TEAM
Hugo Valence was introduced to the sport at the age of 3 and is part of a climber family. He started being really serious about the sport at the age of 10. At 13, he was already climbing his first 5.13b.
Today, he competes in all 3 disciplines. His greatest achievements are to have won the Quebec Championship in all 3 disciplines, to have won the Canadian Speed Championship and to represent Canada in the Junior Pan American Championship.
In his eyes, climbing is a sport that is, uniquely inspiring. He craves being able to push back his limits.
His objectives are to keep performing and participating in multiples championships, either local or national. He aims to be part of the North America Championship and wants to pursue outdoor climbing too.
If he isn't climbing, he enjoys skiing, soccer, kayaking. He simply loves everything that takes parts in nature. That said, he is currently studying in Biology in Université de Laval à Québec.
