Madison Richardson, hailing from Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, has carved a niche for herself in the world of competitive climbing, recognized not only for her prowess on the climbing walls but also for her vibrant life outside of competitions. Born on July 27, 2001, Madison embarked on her climbing journey in 2011 and has been ascending ever since, both literally and metaphorically. Her dedication to the sport became evident as she started competing in 2014, quickly making a name for herself on the Canadian National Team for bouldering.
Madison's trajectory in competitive climbing has been nothing short of remarkable. After deciding to focus exclusively on bouldering in 2017, she made her first Open National Championship final the following year, securing a commendable fourth place. Since then, Madison has maintained an impressive record, never missing a step off the podium at Nationals. Her international presence is equally noteworthy, with a consistent rise in the IFSC World Cup circuit, moving from a ranking of 86th in 2019 to 24th by the 2023 season.
