SABRINA THAYER-HEAD - ELITE TEAM

Sabrina Thayer-Head discovered climbing at the age of 18 years old in a road trip to Yosemite in USA. She began her interest with outdoor sport climbing and traditional climbing. Her love for bouldering came later.

In the last 8 years, she acquired tons of experiences in route setting but in all kin of climbing too (bouldering, sport, trad, speed). As of today, she focused mainly of bouldering.

One of her greatest achievement is when she placed 5th in the qualifications of the National Bouldering Championship.

Sabrina is inspired by athletes that, like her, focuses on the work ethic and the determination. She enjoys the climbing style of Nekaia Sanders, the attitude of Oriane Bertone. She enjoys the likes of Serena Williams, Michael Jordan, Mal O'Brien, Matt Fraser et Tia-Clair Toomey, which are non-climbing athletes, but have the same work ethics as her.

In the short term, she wants to be a better climber, being constant in her performances and results. In the long run, she aims being part of the Canada World Cup team. Her biggest dream would be to be part of the 2028 Olympics.

Outside of the sport, she is passionate about writing. She is currently writing a book.
