VICTOR BAUDRAND - ÉQUIPE PRO
Victor Baudrand is a Quebec athlete that fell in love with climbing while being in Salt Lake City, USA. He started the sport at 5 years old and joined a comp team 3 years later. He trained in Thailand, where he did sport climbing before starting bloc, then traditional climbing and finally ice climbing. He was completely hooked after placing second place in the USA Junior Competition at the age of 10.
All over his career, he keeps sending some of the hardest climbing routes and blocs in the world. He was the second to climb Mialls Ahead (V14), by Yves Gravelles, Canadian climber. He succeeded doing L’enfumette (5.14c) at Saint Léger, in France.
Since young, he kept feeding of the positivity of others to keep him pursuing better skills and be a better person. He finally reached Junior World Championship and went into finals for his first World Championship in Innsbruck. In 2021, he joined IFSC and his currently ranked 32nd in the world in bouldering and 47th in sport climbing.
Victor aims to keep climbing higher in rankings in world ranking and to get a spot in the 2024 or 2028 Olympics, all while pursuing his university degrees and refining cooking skills.
